Psugd fresh: senior portfolio show!

Liminality (from the Latin word līmen, meaning “a threshold”) is the quality of ambiguity or disorientation that occurs in the middle stage of a rite of passage. During a rite’s liminal stage, participants “stand at the threshold” between their previous way of structuring their identity, time, or community, and a new way (which completing the rite establishes). [Wikipedia] Many associate liminal spaces, typically empty indoor areas such as malls and hallways, with feelings of familiarity, nostalgia, and discomfort.
The PSUGD Fall Class of 2022 invites you to join us at reFresh this December as we stand at the threshold between where we are and where we will be.
Fresh is the PSUGD senior portfolio event held at the end of every PSUGD Senior Portfolio class. It typically happens three times a year (December, June and August). The event is organized by the graduating students with the support of their instructors. It not only showcases their work, but provides an opportunity to receive valuable feedback from respective design leaders, and make connections with the design community.
