Celebrate this Father’s Day with a colorful hike around Portland's Washington Park and the famous International Rose Test Garden, then enjoy music in the outdoors on Saturday, June 18th 2022. A Latino-style picnic lunch will also be provided.
For this event we will meet at Pioneer Square Downtown Portland at 9:00 am and then take the 15 minute westbound MAX-Blue Line to Washington Park.
If you prefer to meet us at Washington Park, we will all be meeting at the Les AuCoin Plaza MAX Station at 9:45. Once we all have arrived, we will hike up to the famous International Rose Test Garden.
Through this event, Vive NW is excited to share information about the new public transportation line provided by TriMet and Washington Park that expands the accessibility to some of Portland’s main attractions. Washington Park also offers an additional free, year-round shuttle service that connects to all of the park’s destinations.
This is a free community event and your registration includes: transportation on the MAX-Blue line, a guided 1.5 mile hike around Washington Park, a light Latino-style lunch, and music!

Disfrutemos de música al aire libre, deliciosa comida, y una divertida caminata familiar para festejar el Día del Padre con Vive NW and TV Jam.
Celebremos el Día del Padre con un pintoresco recorrido en Washington Park de Portland, donde visitaremos el famoso Jardín de las Rosas, después podremos disfrutar de música al aire libre y de un almuerzo estilo picnic, todo esto totalmente gratis el próximo sábado 18 de junio.
Para este evento, nuestro punto de reunión será en Pioneer Square Downtown Portland a las 9:00 am y luego tomaremos la línea MAX-Blue Line, viajaremos alrededor de 15 minutos en dirección al oeste hasta llegar a Washington Park.
