How to watch, listen, or stream the 2024 NFL Draft Draft week has arrived, and the Chicago Bears open Round 1 with the first pick of the 2024 NFL Draft on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
Rounds two and three will be held on Friday, and rounds four through seven on Saturday.
Teams are given a limited amount of time to make their selections. In the first round, they have 10 minutes to make their pick, while in the second round, they have seven. The time limit drops to five minutes for rounds three through six, including regular and compensatory picks. By the time the seventh round rolls around, teams only have four minutes to make their selection.
This year's draft will be held in Detroit, MI., at Campus Martius Park.
The Chicago Bears are expected to select USC quarterback Caleb Williams as the consensus first-overall pick.
This year's rookie class features a deep pool of signal-callers, and multiple teams are looking to find their next franchise quarterback.
The New York Giants are a team that could potentially be in the mix for a quarterback. However, a trade would likely be needed to make that happen. Alternatively, the Giants could stay put at pick No. 6 and focus on drafting a top wide receiver or offensive lineman. Another possibility is that the Giants could be a team to watch in a trade, where they move back with another team that needs a quarterback.
The Giants will have six total selections this year. Check below for viewing information, and stay with Big Blue View for updates and analysis throughout all seven rounds.

Your Thursday open thread. The first two games of this series with Oakland demonstrated what we already knew about baseball: on any given day, any last-place team can hang with any first-place team. Yesterday, we finally got some welcome catharsis after two tense games, with Aaron Judge going deep and the Yankees easily handling the lowly A’s the way we’d all like them to. They can cinch a series win tonight as they send Nestor Cortes to the mound to face veteran lefty Alex Wood.
On the site, Andrew will have you covered with a recap of last night’s AL action. Also check out John’s entry in the 1999 Yankees diary, featuring a win in honor of Joe DiMaggio. John also looks at Jose Trevino’s defensive bounce back, while Sam wonders when the slump will end for Gleyber Torres, and David advocates for the YES Network to bring on more commentators more steeped in the modern game.
Today’s Matchup:
New York Yankees vs. Oakland Athletics
Time: 7:05 p.m. ET
TV: YES Network, NBC Sports Bay Area, MLB Network (out-of-market)
Radio: WFAN 660/101.9 FM
Venue: Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY
Questions/Prompts:
1. Is Aaron Judge back?
2. Where are you at with Clarke Schmidt after four weeks of play?

Other Giant observations
GM Joe Schoen keeps plans 'close to the vest' in buildup to draft | Giants.com
The Giants will pick sixth in the first round Thursday night. Unless they don't, which would happen if they trade up or back. Schoen is not letting his intentions leak outside the team's draft room at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center.
"There's going to be a lot of smoke this week: 'This is the Giants' guy and this is who they're taking,'" Schoen said. "And nobody knows because there's one person that does and I'm keeping things pretty close to the vest in terms of what we're going to do. The more people that know what's going on, you maybe put them in a predicament you don't want to put them in where they know the information, it gets out and then you're looking at them sideways. So, try to keep as much information in house and that'll continue through Thursday in terms of when I get a feel for what's going to happen around us."

UNC’s Drake Maye liked watching Tom Brady tape with Giants’ Brian Daboll | New York Daily News
NC QB Drake Maye said he liked watching Tom Brady Patriots tape with Giants HC Brian Daboll.
“Makes me want to play in that type of offense. It was just really cool watching the old Patriots tape and seeing him coach Tom and say, ‘Hey, this what Tom was thinking, he’s taking Gronk across the middle.,” said Maye at an event in Detroit. “Some of that stuff was pretty cool, and it makes me want to play in that type of offense.”
Boomer: Giants dump Daniel Jones if they draft quarterback | WFAN.com
If the Giants indeed do trade up to get Drake Maye, Boomer says it would have to be the end of Daniel Jones in New York, even if the escape hatch in his contract doesn’t activate until after the upcoming season.
“If you get Drake Maye, then what happens to Daniel Jones? You can’t keep Daniel Jones here with Drew Lock. You can’t,” Boomer said. “You’d have to trade him or cut him. If you traded him, you may have to do what the Jets did. you may have to add some incentive for a team to take him…but if you draft a kid, and trade up to get him in the first round and put him in that locker room, and Daniel Jones is still there, it’s not fair for the kid…and it’s certainly not fair for Daniel Jones.”
Cases for why Giants should take QB, WR, OL in 2024 NFL Draft | New York Post
Unless they trade up or down, the Giants will make their selection after five players are off the board, and there are several routes they could go with the No. 6 overall pick.

New York Giants: Don’t Draft a Quarterback in Rounds 1 or 2
The caveat here is that I think the Giants would be delighted if Drake Maye slid to No. 6, but failing that, I don’t see them drafting a quarterback in the first round. New York could draft Michael Penix Jr. or Bo Nix if they fell into the second round, but it seems more likely that they draft a developmental passer in the third round and run it back with Daniel Jones in 2024 before taking stock after the season.
