Event Details
The Maine Academy of Modern Music will be hosting MAMM SLAM: Adults Rock! on Saturday, February 2 at Portland House of Music & Events (25 Temple St, Portland). The entrance fee is $25 per band member and the registration deadline is January 15th. Bands, duos, and solo artists are welcome!
The performers will have a chance to take the stage and show a panel of local celebrity judges what they're made of. The groups will each be allowed to play three songs and for an extra fee can hire local "ringer" musicians or MAMM teachers to fill out their bands.
The last group standing in this winner-takes-all battle royale will have a chance to perform at the Maine Academy of Modern Music's stage at the Old Port Festival in June, 2019!
