About Old Port

The Old Port is located along the Portland Harbor which is part of Casco Bay. The streets are made of cobblestones, filled with beautiful brick buildings dating back to the 19th century which is stock full of History. The Old Port has one of oldest working ports still in operation. There are scenic cruises taking you to Peaks Island, Great Diamond Island and Cushing?s Island. Additionally, the infamous ?booze cruise? located next to Maine?s only Comedy Connection. The Old Port Is filled with many things to do. There are a number of boutiques, novelty shops, coffee shops, and sites to see during the day. While at night the Old Port turns into a giant party with crowds over flowing into the streets, music streaming out of every door you pass. There are brew pubs, wine bars, dining spots with many ethnic cuisines for every palette, also including but forgetting the famous lobster /sea foods of Maine. There is live entertainment for all to enjoy, no matter what your tastes. (Rock, rap, jazz, folk, country, alternative, and everything in between)
