Join Center for Wildlife to learn all about our feathered fliers of the night, the owls!
Event Details
Kick off our new “Whooo’s There” series with an autumn owl prowl! After a very successful last year of owl prowls, CFW is offering an owl prowl series. Join us for an autumn owl prowl to learn about native owl species, their ecology, adaptations, and meet local representatives up close! Following the program, we’ll practice our calls and head into the woods to listen for whoooo is flying in the night!
We welcome all owl prowlers over the age of 15, please remember that patience and a quiet atmosphere are crucial for owl prowling. There is a $7 suggested donation per person for this event, and reservations are required. Please email Emily at coordinator@Yorkcenterforwildlife.org to reserve your spot today!
